A friend of mine posted a little amusing conversation he had yesterday. I found it funny enough that I figured I'd share it.

11:46] Theranauss: So I live in Florida...
[11:46] Theranauss: And I was having a convo with my friend about the weather.
[11:47] Theranauss: "Its fucking 42 degrees man! I dont live in South Florida for this kinda shit!" He says.
[11:48] Theranauss: I reply "Stop being a pussy I just came back from New York and it was 20 degrees there."
[11:48] Theranauss: "I blame Obama." he continues.
[11:48] Theranauss: "What the fuck? Why?"
[11:48] Theranauss: "Dude .. we did the impossible.. Black President.. hell froze over!"
[11:48] Theranauss: I reply with a facepalm.

Amusing isn't it :)

And simply because it's fucking funny...

I'll give you a small bt of info on this series:

"After decades since the original anime series, the cybernetic warrior returns in this franchise reboot, Casshern Sins. In a world where the powerful robot leader known as Braiking Boss rule over humanity with an iron fist, a mysterious girl named Luna is summoned by the people for salvation. To retaliate against this potential threat, Braiking sends 3 of his most powerful cyborgs, Casshern, Dio and Reda to dispose of her. Casshern manages to kill Luna, plunging the world into a slow descent of annhilation. Hundreds of years later, humanity is almost extinct. Robots constantly replace their body parts, fearing the corrosion of rust: their only form of death. In this wretched time and place, Casshern returns after a lengthy disappearance since his murder of Luna. Having lost his memory, Casshern now defends the humans from the robots, and find out his true identity and purpose." - Bleach Exile

So DW introduced me to this viaa live action movie he brought back with him from China. I thought it was an interesting movie and wanted to see more of it (sadly the disk was badly scratched by the time i found it again and was never able to finish it). So lo and behold I find that there is now an anime reboot which is in more modern animation style. So I'm going to start watching this series as I like the story (no matter how simple it may be).

Here is a little preview:

The Colors!!!!

Meet Virtuo.

Quoted from the article:

It mimics real paint mixture techniques with LED lights. The user can also mix
dark colors due to the special coating on the palette’s surface. The amount of
paint “picked up” by the tool is determined by the amount of time the tool
spends on the mixed color.

The tools, consisting of a pencil, paintbrush, palette knife, airbrush and pastel,
use sensors to translate the user’s gestures into visual information. Taking a
palette knife as an example, it would use pressure and accelerometer sensors to
translate its position and pressure on the screen into an appropriate stroke.

Virtuo comes with software that is based on the real painting process: minimal,
leaving the user free to experiment. Most of the time it would look like a blank
piece of canvas, with a simple drop down menu showing only when the user
wants to start a new digital painting, save, close it or open a previously started
one. The really cool thing about this software is that it would treat all the digital
materials used on the canvas as real ones. Ex. You would not be able to erase
paint, only paint over it. It would also have only a limited number of “undo” steps to encourage the insecure user to practice by correcting rather than erasing.
